Report Format

We are standardizing data from all school divisions. If your data is not formatted in a comma separated value (CSV) format, you will not be able to upload to TRAF.

A CSV file is a text file that contains one line per record of data, and all the fields within a record are separated by commas.

Example:

"CA:,123456789,49,2155,2001,7,3,2032.27,122,200,50000,0,0,0,0
,0,"Whyte","Lily",19500401,"F"

"CA",456789123,49,2155,2001,6,3,670.65,61,200,33000,0,0.5,0,2
0000102,0,"Greene","Kelly",19740321,"F"

"CA",456789123,49,2155,2001,6,74,30.48,2,200,33000,0,0,0,2000
0102,0,"Greene","Kelly",19740321,"F"

Notice that each record is on its own line and each line has the same number of fields separated by commas. Number fields are represented by a number with no quotes. A field with letters (such as the person's name) must have quotes around it. None of the fields in any record are blank.
